I-V-E  Q-U-I-T describes the 7 steps of my quit smoking process:

  • INTENTIONS- the beginning of your "change" process

  • VALUES- your foundation for new thoughts, feelings and behaviors

  • EMOTIONS- your big obstacle to change and freedom from smoking

  • QUESTIONS- the beginning of change in the way you "think" about smoking

  • UNDERSTANDING- your new perceptions about your "smoker urges"

  • INTERVENTIONS- turning new thoughts, feelings and behaviors into new ss

  • THINKING- an automatic change in the way you "think" about smoking- and freedom!

Quitting is simple, change your smoker's P.I.E.

until your "thinking" changes for good.

Your smoker's P.I.E. is your Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional commitments to smoking.

All you need is a good process to help change your P.I.E. and your thinking.....

My I'VE QUIT Process will walk you through each of the required steps to help you quit smoking easily, naturally, and permanently.

You will learn to.......

  • Empower your INTENTIONS and create an unbreakable will to quit

  • Identify and leverage your personal VALUES in the quitting process

  • Master your EMOTIONS and make it easy and fun to quit smoking

  • Ask powerful QUESTIONS that facilitate and encourage "real change"

  • UNDERSTAND your urges and learn to accept them without smoking

  • INTERVENE at precisely the right moment to ensure your success

  • Change the way you THINK about smoking for the rest of your life

Do you know why people fail to quit smoking....

People fail to quit smoking on their own because of a lack of "real change" in the way they "think" about smoking.  Even when they try to quit using various quit smoking products, they fail again and again.  But the mind is a powerful tool.  And if you're still smoking, you're not giving your mind the credit it deserves.

You see, our minds naturally want to preserve the way we already "think"- even when it doesn't make any sense to us.  You may really want to quit smoking for good reasons like saving money or feeling healthier.  And these are great reasons to quit.

But they are not enough, on their own, to create real and lasting change in the way you "think" about smoking.

The fact is you will continue to smoke until you teach your mind to adopt a new way of "thinking" about smoking.

"I have tried more quit smoking products and gimmicks than you can imagine.  It took your simple process to finally get it through my "thick" head that I could really change and quit smoking for good.  Great job!"

- Frank Martin

Here's the problem...

Your mind keeps you smoking because you already accept the behavior.  In order to break this pattern and quit smoking, you will need to change the way you think about smoking for good.

However, you can't just decide to change your 'thinking' and be done with it.  You need a process to rewire your mind and make your new "thoughts" automatic.  Just like a habit.

Change is a process.  And it requires small adjustments in your behavior (Physical), your thoughts (Intellectual), and your feelings (Emotional).  When it comes to quitting, each piece of your SMOKERS P.I.E. is important to your overall success because each part has a direct effect on your ability to quit smoking and stay quit.  The pieces work together to influence your overall thoughts, decisions, and behaviors.

The only real way to quit smoking honestly and permanently is to disarm your P.I.E. commitments to smoking and replace them with new commitments to yourself.

Does it matter if smoking is a habit or an addiction?

Lot's of people make excuses about why they can't quit smoking.  They think about smoking in terms of a habit or an addiction.  And they believe the problem (and behavior) is somehow outside of their control.  People often blame their failure to quit smoking on their set of circumstances. But the fact is that most people never change the way they THINK about smoking.  Only the way they approach it.

The truth about quitting is that it really doesn't matter if smoking is a habit or an addiction.  It's not important.  Change is what matters.

You really can quit smoking for life.  All you need is a good formula for real and lasting change!

Why most quit smoking products don't work?

Most quit smoking products attempt to provide a one-shot "magic bullet" to help smokers quit smoking.  Some products help you cope with urges.  Some scare you into quitting with facts and statistics.  And others rely on hypnotic techniques that only produce short-term results.

These products fail miserably because they don't help you overcome your commitments towards smoking.  And they don't address the Physical, Intellectual and Emotional pieces of your smoker's P.I.E.  Therefore,  they don't lead to real and lasting change.

Cognitive Dissonance and Smoking?

Cognitive dissonance can help you quit smoking or help you protect your reasons to keep smoking.

Cognitive dissonance refers to the fact that people seek out information which supports their currently held views and attempt to avoid information which challenges them.  If they cannot avoid dissonant viewpoints, people tend to selectively hear only that part of the information which supports there views and opinions.

Because most quit smoking products only focus on one part of the smokers P.I.E., smoker's will often justify smoking using the other two pieces.  They may accept that smoking is unhealthy (physical), but increase their personal value towards smoking (intellectual & emotional).

For example, A smoker might look for positive effects of smoking and believe that smoking reduces tension (emotional) or keeps him or her from gaining weight (intellectual).  A smoker might believe that the risk to health from smoking is negligible compared with the danger of automobile accidents (reducing the importance of the dissonant cognition).

In addition, a smoker may consider the enjoyment he or she gets from smoking to be a very important part of his or her life (increasing the importance of consonant cognitions).

Quitting requires you to deal with "cognitive dissonance"  on each P.I.E level.

I know first-hand about change and quitting.  I failed to quit smoking using a number of products and programs.  Quitting once felt impossible to me.   But when I finally had enough, I did my own  research on smoking and quitting.  I borrowed from my background and training in psychology and change management to create this very unique and remarkable program.  And it will change the way you think about smoking for good>> more about me.

Today, the I'VE QUIT Process is creating tremendous results for people all over the country.

Whether this is your first attempt to quit smoking or you've tried in the past and failed, I guarantee it will be the last "quit smoking" product you'll ever need.

Why a CD (audiobook) instead of a written book or report?

1. Change requires learning.  And learning happens faster with repetition.  You probably wouldn't read the same book or report more than once.  So the message never "sinks in" all the way.

However, you often LISTEN to things over and over.  We listen to the same music all of the time.  That's because it's more convenient to listen.

2. Learning is situational.  Every message or lesson your learn will continues to create new meaning and understanding each time you read or hear it.

Your see, everything we learn is influenced by the moment we are directly engaged in the learning process.  Even if you retain everything you read, the message is filtered by your Physical, Intellectual and Emotional state at the time the learning takes place.  It's called "selective attention".

My audio CD makes it easier to learn how to quit smoking because it's convenient to HEAR the messages over and over.  And you keep learning the process while you're in different Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional states.

The key is repetition and situational influence.  Both are  important in the change process.

Use my I'VE QUIT Agreement to create a connection between what you HEAR on the CD and what you SEE on your I'VE QUIT Agreement.  It's four times more effective when they're combined!

"I sure wish I would have listened to your cd before I ever started smoking.  It's changed my entire life, even beyond smoking"

- Larry Tiechout

A Final thought to consider...

People who quit smoking using the I'VE QUIT Process tell me it's better than any other program they've tried.  It's so disarmingly honest and straightforward, you will find it easy to listen and learn until your thinking changes for good.

The I'VE QUIT Process makes it easy to quit smoking because it works on all three levels required for real change to occur- Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional.

For the cost of a few packs of cigarettes you can make the best decision right now and begin the I'VE QUIT Process.  You can end your commitments to smoking and change your life for good!

"Not only am I done smoking for life, but I'm a much happier person.  I owe it all to this book-on-tape."
