About Victor Cormier...

He has been studying the martial arts for the past 24 years. He has competed throughout Canada, US and Japan for team Canada. Because of his own frustrations in training, he developed certain key training methods which enabled him to achieve his highest potential with timing and rhythm training.

Why was STT invented?

The reason I invented STT was purely selfish!

It started in my karate training...see when I competed in national and international karate tournaments, the problem was that one day I would win all my fights and the next day I would lose. I couldn't maintain and control my performance because my Timing & Rhythm was off...

I just couldn't put it all together and didn't know how to fix it. At that point I started to ask coaches and even source out the top so-called gurus in the world for help.

The only thing they told me was the following: Train harder... Get in better shape... It will come around eventually... and on and on... (are they familiar statements that you might have heard someone tell you or others?)

Let me tell you, at that time I was training 7 days per week and I was practically thinking about karate 24 hours per day!

The problem wasn't my training and attitude, it was finding a practical way to solve my frustrations, concerns and problems in karate.

These so-called experts and gurus didn't know what in the hell they were talking about and instead of telling me, they just didn't know, they would give me all kinds of BS advice.

From that point, I decided that if nobody could teach me the things I wanted, then I was going to try to develop a system that would give me what I wanted.

Sixteen years later, through thousands of trial & errors, I finally developed STT. This is what happened after: My karate students ... (in just one year) won 80% of all tournaments...

In year two, they won won 100% of the tournaments using my system of STT. See it usually takes anywhere from 10-15 years on the average to achieve this level!

Other athletes from other sports were starting to notice our results, and asked what was the secret our success. I told them that STT was the answer in karate.

At that point, they wanted to know if STT would work in their sports like: Hockey, Track & Field, Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf and others... I wasn't sure, so I told them I would try to customize my system to see if it would work in their sport.

I found that my system worked the same way in all other sports!

From that point on, I decided that I would write books, develop courses that would teach any and all athletes how to solve their training frustrations, concerns and problems.

Not just in years of training, but at times it would take from a couple of minutes to a few hours to accomplish what they wanted. We also found that STT worked the same way for Beginners...Intermediate...Advanced and Professional athletes with the same lightning results!

How does STT work?

Maybe the best way to try to explain how STT works is by giving you an example that will illustrate what I mean:

What If you bought a new house that had a system in place that controlled everything in your house, like your heat, air conditioning system etc... however this system has no controls or thermostat.

After a certain period of time, as this house gets older, the system starts to breakdown and following might happen: Maybe in the heart of summer, the heating system comes on and your house is at 120 degrees (not a good thing in the dead of summer...right?)

On the other hand maybe in the winter the air conditioning system might come on and gives out cold air (another bad situation...) Now you might say to yourself, why wasn't a manual thermostat or control installed when the house was built?

Good thought on your part but we can now fix the problem by adding a thermostat that will control the heat an air conditioning system. If you put the thermostat at 70 degrees, then the heat will come up to that level. If you want to increase or decrease the heat, you can manually do it.

The same thing for the air conditioning system, you can control it by using the same thermostat or control. In the above examples, we can fix the problems by hiring a technician to come and install a thermostat or control...right?

Now let's go with an athlete... we come into this world with all the tools and systems in place (just like the brand new house). As we get older our system (mind and body) starts to break down (just like the house) maybe you have a good performance and that feels great but sometimes you might have a horrible performance and you don't know: What went wrong...How to fix it... Who to ask... What to do and and the list goes on and on...

The reason you don't know is because you don't have a thermostat or control that you can manually adjust to eliminate and/or control these problems.

Now you might say, why can't I phone a technician to come in to fix myself? That's a good thought, however I had the same problem and found out very quickly that there isn't anybody to be found!

This is why I invented STT which is the thermostat or control that will enable athletes to finally take control of their mind and body. It gives them all the tools they need to become their own technician that will be able to fix their own problems.

Think about this... it will not only teach you how to solve your performance problems but it will give you the knowledge on how to fix your concerns, frustrations that all athletes experience in their sport. It will enable you to know why they happen... where to look for solutions... when to fix them... and basically my system is like having me there with your showing you the way!

Question?You might thinking or asking yourself the following: "How can STT work in sports that the inventor didn't even play or know anything about?"

And that's a good point!

Answer: I don't have to know your sport for STT to work...it all has to do with knowing the basics of STT and then applying these principles to your own movements, techniques in your own sport. Let me give you an example: I gave an STT training session to Mr. Ray Bushfield (a golfer)...and I don't even know how to golf! Mr. Bushfield went from an 11 handicap to a 9 in just a few days of training with STT!

REMEMBER: All sports have different speeds, timings and rhythms...if don't know how to train and control these, you'll never attain peak performance and consistency in any sport.

Why does the Mind and Body communication break down?

I haven't found out exactly why it breaks down, the only thing I know it's like an electrical short in your body that interferes with the communication of the mind to the body.

When there's a short in the communication, at that point the body doesn't get the full message of what the mind wants it to do. What can happen at this point, is the body might not make a movement or technique at the right time. Either begins or ends to fast or too slow.

Haven't we all had times when we've missed an easy shot, movement or technique and said to ourselves"I don't know why I missed such an easy shot".

STT makes sure that it eliminates those electrical interference when the mind and body communicates...

Did you ever here the saying: "If I would have been at the right place at the right time..." as athletes if your Timing is off, then you're not at the right place or at the time...are you?

When your timing is off it creates within every athlete a feeling of almost Despair, Frustrations and Negative Thoughts because he or she doesn't know what is happening to them or what to do to eliminate or fix these situations. All in all, it doesn't matter why it breaks down, the only thing that is important is for you to know how to fix-it..period!

Why would athletes want to learn STT?

We've done surveys with hundreds of athletes to ask them what their Problems, Frustrations and Concerns were in their sport and we've compiled the following list out of the surveys you maybe recognize any?

Now think of some of your FEARS or CONCERNS and PROBLEMS that you're experiencing in your sport?

Think about this! Did you ever hear coaches and athletes talk about some or all of the following:

"I just didn't have it together in my game (sport, competition etc...)"

"I was off in my game..."

"I couldn't put it all together..."

"It wasn't clicking for me in my performance..."

"My timing was off..."

"The players weren't playing as a unit..."

"We couldn't pick up the pace..."

And the list goes on and on...

You hear coaches and athletes saying some or all of the above when interviewed after a game. It basically all boils down to 95% not having the proper Timing and Rhythm...period!

Once you know and learn how to master timing and rhythm training there won't be any need of saying any of the above statements in your sport because you will know the What, When, Why, Where and How to eliminate these forever using STT!

How long does it take to learn STT?

It doesn't matter if you're 6 years old or 75 years... anybody can learn this Easy-to Learn, Practical system within a few minutes to a couple of hours of training...

It depends on the athlete, however once you learn how to control the communication between your Mind and Body, what use to take days, months and years to learn, can be done in a frs of the time! Also is doesn't matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, advanced or professional athlete, it works at all levels the same way.

Remember the story about the thermostat? Once you know where the thermostat is located and how to use, now you have that knowledge that you can use time and time again, for the rest of your life in any sport that you want...!

How long does it take to train STT on a daily basis?

It all depends on the athlete... usually it's divided up into two categories. The first group of athletes will train using STT 100% of the time with all their techniques, movements and competitions.

The other group will use it when they get into trouble...Ex: Maybe they're having a bad day and things aren't working right for them, at that point, they'll use STT.

The rest of the time they might not use it or need to use it...

REMEMBER: If you want to have full control of your Mind and Body for your sport...just use STT 100% of the time and it will work. Once you know the basics it's very easy to use in in any sport, so why take the chance.

I always encourage athletes to use the system of STT at all times in their training.

Who should train STT?

Let me give you an example of what I mean. First of all if I asked you to drive your car at 30 miles per hour, how many miles would you have traveled in one hour?

Simple, the answer is 30 miles...right!

The reason you can do this is because you have a speedometer (odometer) in each car and if you set your cruise control at 30 miles per hour for one hour, then you can be certain that after one hour you would have driven 30 miles.

Let's do the same thing as above but with only one small difference, this time we will disable your speedometer and cruise control. Now try to drive at 30 miles per hour for a period of one hour. Now can you guarantee me that you can do it now?

The answer is NO... or not sure because there is nothing to gauge, control on your speed.

In comparison, if you use STT in your sport, you can take control, gauge and know exactly what the results will be because you have your own Thermostat, Control and/or Cruise Control that is coordinated by your mind.

If you don't use STT then it's like having no controls, speedometer and cruise control. This is the best way to illustrate the advantages of using STT in all sports.

What happens if you don't learn and use STT?

If you want to continue to be Frustrated, live with your Fears, Concerns and Problems that you experience in your sport, then don't use STT.

If you want to be the best that you can possibly be, Control your Mind and Body, maintain Peak Performance at the level that you want on a Consistent Basis, then STT is for you.

Another thing to mention here is, STT is just getting out there NOW and the first athletes that use it will have a tremendous advantage over their competition! 

You know as well as I that the difference between the true champion and coming in at second place isn't by being 25% better but sometimes an improvement of 1/1000 of 1% can make a huge difference in winning or losing!

If this technology would have been available when I was competing, I would have done a lot better. But for me I'll never know because my karate fighting career is over, I can't go back but I can make sure that all other athletes, from all sports, will have the chance that I didn't have, by using this system in their sport.

How come I’ve never seen STT before?
Well, the reason that you’ve never heard of STT before is that it’s never been offered to general public before!

One of the biggest reason for this was, we wanted to make sure that all the bugs were worked out before we offer it to all athletes, making sure it would work in all sports.

I challenge you to search out and seek this knowledge anywhere else in the world and I know you will come back to STT, because I know that there is nothing that will come close to what STT can do for you.

Where exactly can STT be used in sport?

Let me give you some examples of where STT can be applied in all sports:

1. Have you ever missed and easy shot?

You might say to yourself why did I miss that easy shot.... anybody could have done that shot... This frustrates you because you know that you could have done it one thousand times and why did you miss it at this point?

The answer is that your timing and rhythm was off... see, the judgment of your mind to assess the situation was done in the proper manner, however that communication wasn't transmitted correctly to your body to enable you to execute your movement or technique at the right time... and/or at the right place!

2. Let's say you need more power or balance in your movements, techniques or overall performance.. what do you do?

Athletes usually think that if they train something thousands of repetition that it will assure them that when they need that power or balance it will automatically be there for them. And this doesn't work...why?

Because once you learn about body mechanics, you'll have the knowledge and control on knowing exactly what to do, when to do it and at the precise amounts that is needed, to complete your movements or techniques at the level that you want.

3. Maybe you want to be able to control the amount of nervousness in competition.

See a lot of athletes can do everything right in their training and once the competition starts, they get nervous and can't seem to put everything together.

They know to themselves, they can do it right in practice but just can't seem to control their nervousness in competition...

STT will teach these athletes how to control and master their nervousness at all times.

See you can be nervous and I think that all athletes are nervous to a certain extent but the problem comes in when this nervousness paralyzes your performance.

Wouldn't it be nice to know how to eliminate that?

I could write you thousands of situations, that STT will help you with but I am not going to keep writing for the next two years and you don't have the time to read for the next two years either!

The only thing that athletes want as competitors, is to be able to Achieve and Maintain the best possible level of performance that is humanly possible on a a consistent basis

Basically 98% of all the frustrations, concerns and problems that athletes, in all sports experience, can be solved by using the tools that you'll learn in STT...

Remember I had all of these myself and that's why I invested 16 years of my life to develop a practical system that enables you to take advantage of and learn from a few minutes to a couple of hours!

Please do the following...

Think of all the Concerns, Problems and Frustrations you've experienced in your sport.

This will be different for everybody but I know that you'll have specific situations that have annoyed you, perhaps someone has told you of something that you didn't do right in your training...

Maybe you can see yourself wanting to do or achieve something specific in your sport... maybe it made you feel bad that you couldn't do something at the level that you wanted...

Look at specific situations that have happened in your training or sport. I know it can be painful to go through some of these exercises but you must realize where you've been, where you are right now and what you need to do to achieve and get to the level that you want and deserve in your sport.

Think of specific situations that were told to you. How they made you feel...

Look at specific problems, concerns and frustration that have happened to you in the past. Is that what you want to experience in the future? Only you can answer...

How long have you experienced these frustrations, concerns and problems in your sport? Has it been for the past 2 months...2 years...5 years etc...?

What have you tried to solve these problems?

How does that affect you directly: Yourself...Your sport...Your performance...everything?

When you think of all these problems, concerns and frustrations, how do you feel about that?

Have you given up trying to solve these problems?

Now that you've thought about all of these negative things that you've experienced or are still experiencing, what if you could solve them forever?

Wouldn't it be nice to finally get rid of all those things that have been bothering you for weeks, months, and years..once and for all?

You are the only person that needs to answer that...
