Sciatica is one of the most difficult problems a physician has to treat. Through this e-book, I have introduced my patients to this innovative method of treating this disorder, without resorting to surgery or painful injections. I applaud Marcia and Pamela and recommend this book wholeheartedly to anyone suffering from sciatica.

The Full Sciatica Relief Story

From: Marcia Coulter in Evanston, Illinois -- a little north of Chicago

Dear Friend,

Imagine your life like this:

  • Twisting easily to hit a tennis ball, swing a golf club, or just to see what’s behind you as you pull out of your driveway

  • Walking confidently along the lakefront, enjoying a cool summer breeze

  • Enjoying a 400-mile drive to a weekend resort

  • Riding your bike comfortably and safely

  • Standing at your kitchen counter, enjoying the color and rhythm of chopping fresh vegetables

  • Snuggling up with a good book

Sciatica hurts. You know that or you wouldn’t be here. The good news is that a few simple exercises can reduce — and in some cases virtually eliminate — your sciatic nerve pain without steroids, surgery, or even sweat. It couldn’t be easier.

I have read several books and articles on the subject of sciatica and none has been as clear and helpful, in fact the exercises described in some are exactly contrary to what soothes the sciatic nerve.  I have been doing almost everything wrong and subsequently, getting no relief.  Last night [after reading Stop Sciatica Now] I had the first half-way decent night sleep in many weeks after doing your exercises. I wish I had found your book sooner.  Thank you again.

Relieve sciatic nerve pain quickly

In January of 1995 I was in severe pain and had been for months! Maybe I hurt myself when I started weight lifting. Maybe it was just stress. I was 42, newly married to a 29 year-old man, mother of a 12 year-old girl hormones! — managing a work team that included an old boyfriend, and working far too many hours a week.

Whatever the cause, the pain was excruciating. Hard wooden seats were a particular problem, though cushioned ones weren’t exactly a picnic!

You may be familiar with that type of pain. Pain so bad it hurts to lie in bed. Pain so bad that you wait until no one is around before getting out of your chair.

“Good grief! Don’t let them see how long it takes me to get up!”

Last week I tried to get out of bed but had so much pain that I couldn't. I was diagnosed with sciatica. It was my first attack and the first lower back pain I've experienced. I found Pamela's book on the Internet and downloaded the first three chapters. Two days later I ordered the entire book. The exercises have helped me get back on my feet again after four painful days. The book and its illustrations have given me a whole new understanding about my body and my spine. It seems I've been doing everything wrong for many years now--all in the interest of achieving "good posture".... Thanks to both of you for making this information available.

It can make driving to work — and even sleeping — nearly impossible. It takes a toll on you. And it takes a toll on your family.

So I visited my doctor. She offered epidural cortisone shots (steroids?!) and—if that didn’t do the trick—surgery. I trust my doctor, but I didn’t like her recommendations. My friend Judy—also suffering from sciatica—got cortisone shots so that she could fly to Hawaii for a sales conference. Judy felt no pain and had a great time. But when those shots wore off, her sciatic pain was worse than ever! Not the ending I wanted for my story! And not the ending you want for yours!

So I did some research and I found out about little-known method invented by a mechanical engineer. By the end of February of 1995 I had alleviated my own sciatic pain without shots or surgery. Just by doing a few gentle exercises that didn’t even raise a sweat. Exercises that consisted mostly of getting to know how the position of my skeleton affects my nervous and muscular systems.

What is this secret method?

The method was developed by a man who was both mechanical engineer and athlete. When the pain of old knee injuries became too much for him to deal with, this man  considered surgery. His doctors told him that surgery might help him, or it might make it more difficult for him to walk. Instead of giving up hope, the man studied anatomy and physiology … and rehabilitated himself…and taught others.

You can learn more about the man, the method he invented, and its application to sciatica in Stop Sciatica Now.

It’s nearly ten years later and I still pay attention to the position of my skeleton and I still do those simple, gentle exercises. The payoff? I’ve never had another sciatica attack. True…if I sit cross-legged on a bare, hardwood floor for an hour…or if I work too many hours at my computer without paying attention to how I sit ….I do get an ache or a numbness.

But those feelings just remind me to get back on track before things get worse.

The diagrams are splendid and the book is based on convincing principles. Seeing the body as a piece of engineering is most  illuminating. We both write books in our own fields (Education and Banking)  so we appreciate the clear structure of the book and the inviting writing style. The advice about sensible sleeping positions has helped one of us enormously.

We also think it is most generous to allow people to download the first three chapters free of charge so that they can receive advice immediately. Many thanks for your help.

Learn how “better body habits” can prevent pain

Working with a practitioner of this method is like working with a coach. A coach trained to observe…how you stand at a counter…how you walk across a room…, how you sit at a desk. A coach who can teach you how to move and sit and stand more efficiently.

I purchased Stop Sciatica Now a week or so ago and have been amazed at how my posture has been so wrong for so many years, especially standing and walking posture.  My decision to buy the book is one of the best I've made in my life!

In classes or in private sessions, a certified prser teaches you to pay attention to the position of your skeleton as you go through your daily activities. Very quickly you begin to feel some real differences! And because you learn how to make those differences yourself, you can do the exercises any time….anywhere. Some exercises just look like mild fidgeting. So you can even do them in public with no embarrassment.

My coach was Pamela Kihm. After working with her for about a month, my sciatic pain was gone. And it’s been under control ever since.

Pamela Kihm didn’t give me a fish. Pamela Kihm taught me how to fish!

It’s nine years later and I’ve never had another sciatica attack. The funny thing is…I didn’t realize how unusual nine years without sciatica pain is until last year. When it finally did occur to me, I called Pamela immediately and asked her to write a book to help other sciatica sufferers.

I waited an extra week, just to be sure this really worked! The pain relief is unbelievable. After 2 weeks the difference was remarkable. My rheumatologist was just as surprised as I was and was going to log on to your site to get the book.

I have been trying to deal with the pain for almost 2 years and nothing helped. I even tried a chiropractor (out of pocket expense) and he was also baffled when he couldn’t help me. My son-in–law said I was becoming my pain. I feel like a new woman!   Thank you so much!

The result is Stop Sciatica Now . . .  a 100-page book that you can buy and download right now. (That means no impatient waiting for a book to arrive in the mail!)

Unlike any other book about sciatica, Stop Sciatica Now explains how the position of your skeleton affects your sciatica. And how to sit, stand, and walk in ways that minimize pressure on your sciatic nerve. Think about it this way.

Carpenters and bricklayers use a plumb line to help them build straight walls.  In its simplest form, a plumb line is a heavy string with a weight on one end. If the string gets tangled…if someone adds another weight in the wrong place…you could end up with a crooked wall.

Time … bad habits …injury. They can all tangle your body so that it doesn’t operate as well as it could. Using the methods taught in Stop Sciatica Now, you can change that.

I can't thank you enough. The book arrived Tuesday and I got right on it. It is every thing I have been looking for 2 years!!!!!! My understanding of this pain is something I can deal with now. [It's just Thursday and] I'm already doing better; I was so afraid to move or stretch because of pain. Now I know it is ok [and] work through it with the stretching.

God has really answered my prayer, I knew all along that I would have this problem all my life, because of the shape of my spine. So I changed my prayer, and asked the Lord to teach me how to move, and now I see hope and light at the end of this!!! Thank you so much...I just wanted you to know how happy I am and my family thanks you too. I clean houses for a living and it is making a HUGE. difference in my life so soon. WOW. Love and peace to you.

Treat the causes…and the symptoms

A pain, burning, tingling, numbness, or electric shock-like feelings that follow the path of the sciatic nerve; sometimes even down into the foot.

Some medical experts say sciatica is a diagnosis ....like diabetes or asthma. Others may not even use the term, saying that sciatica is "only" a collection of symptoms that can result from a multitude of causes. Causes like --

  • A herniated lumbar disc, also called a pinched nerve or slipped disc -- The most common cause of sciatica

  • Piriformis syndrome -- A common cause of sciatica

  • Fibromyaglia -- Very rare

  • ... and so on

The list of possible causes is long. The effect is the same -- some part of your body is pinching or otherwise irritating your sciatic nerve. But it doesn’t stop there.

You have a choice. Take drugs...cortisone shots, a Vicodan patch, or some other narcotic...to mask the pain.

Just wanted you to know that I had been to a chiropractor for 3 treatments in the last week and a half for my sciatic nerve pain. I have had it over the years and it only took one or two adjustments at most to relieve the pain. No such luck this time. I really didn't want to go to my MD because of the reasons you said - they give me pain killers or shots, etc. - just masking the pain.

In the midst of a really bad pain, I started looking on the internet and found your website. I downloaded the free 3 chapters and started the exercises. Almost immediately the pain has subsided. Yes there is still some pain, but it is immensely better. THANK YOU!

I purchased the book and plan to take advantage of the instructions you give to get me back into good shape and keep myself there!

Thank you for such a practical and easy way to approach to this problem.

Or do something to relieve the pressure on the sciatic nerve.

I started the exercises and have seen a marked improvement.

Dianne McKissock

The sooner you can relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve, the sooner you can get relief from the pain and numbness. Surgery can relieve that pressure. But surgery poses its own problems…Health problems….Pocketbook problems.

Worse yet, surgery doesn’t change your “body habits.” So you may still be walking, sitting, and standing in ways that irritate your sciatic nerve. And sooner or later, that will catch up with you.

Only your doctor can tell you what’s pinching your sciatic nerve… a swelling … bone deterioration … etc. But whatever the cause, the exercises in Stop Sciatica Now can help you relieve the pressure without surgery.

Start where you are

Maybe you haven't exercised regularly for years. It doesn’t matter. These easy-to-do exercises are designed to help you learn to sit and stand and move in nearly effortless ways. So you can do them without fear of pain. In fact, doing the exercises right, means you must stop before it hurts. Now let’s talk about what’s inside Stop Sciatica Now.

What’s inside…coaching for daily life

Here’s what’s inside Stop Sciatica Now:

  • Step-by-step instructions for 18 exercises, 6 that can help you relieve pain immediately

  • How doing the Cat-Camel exercise (from yoga) with "skeletal awareness" can help prevent the return of sciatic pain

  • 57 line drawings illustrating movements and postures, some with the skeleton sketched in so you can see how your body and bone structure interact

  • 23 photographs with the background cut away, making it easy to see the moves and positions described in the text

  • How to bend down and tie your shoes …. without hurting your back, page 11

  • How a pair of socks can help relieve your pain, page 22

  • Strategies for driving, like what to do at a stop light and how to adjust your seat for more comfortable riding, pages 79 –82

  • How to lift a heavy load, page 87-88

  • How to garden comfortably, page 89

  • How to ride a bicycle safely and comfortably, page 89-91

  • There’s even help for how to relax in a way that won’t have you leaning on your sciatic nerve! (page 92)

I’m sure by now you’re wondering how much it will set you back to buy Stop Sciatica Now.

Right now, you can buy Stop Sciatica Now and download it immediately for $41. Does that sound like a lot of money? If so, compare it to what you pay doctors and chiropractors. Compare it to what you spend on diagnostic tests and drugs. Compare it to the cost of constant pain and the way that pain makes you treat family, friends, and coworkers.

Since I read ....this book I have had one attack to which I tried some of the exercises described in it. And by heck it eased the pain I had to the extent of I was able to continue to go to work with a lot easier than I could the previous day....I will admit I am a very skeptical person and didn't believe it could work. Well, I am not scared to say it does work and my skepticism is well and truly gone.

Special Extended Money-Back Guarantee

Buying something from someone you don’t know is always a risk. One that you shouldn’t have to shoulder alone. So I’m going to help out. First, you have the opportunity to a free preview of three chapters. Second, after you buy Stop Sciatica Now, read it cover to cover and try the exercises risk free for 90 days. If the information and exercises in the book aren’t helpful to you – I’ll cheerfully refund your money.

Why am I extending the guarantee from the usual 30 days to 90 days? From my own experience, I know that you’ll begin to enjoy the benefits of Stop Sciatica Now almost immediately. But I also know that any physical training takes some time to really work its way into your body.

I purchased the download book Stop Sciatica Now on 11/15…. I contacted you on 11/17 to get a full refund, which was refunded to my account on 11/17, thank you.

The reason why I'm contacting you again is that I want to pay for the book....   I [gave] the book a second chance and I believe that it has changed my life....I drive a lift truck at work now for 17 yrs, which has no suspension and no air in the tires so when you hit a bump it goes all the way through you....Because I was sitting wrong my low back was taking a lot of abuse. After reading the book again, I now ...sit in the correct way, and as you stated in the book, the bumps are actually therapeutic to my spine.... Yesterday afternoon I actually got off my lift truck at work pain free, which I thought would never happen. Three weeks ago I thought I would have to sign for another job, not to mention I was wishing for death because of the excruciating pain I was experiencing. Also along with the sciatica I would experience a stiff neck, which now after doing the exercises rotates freely like I got a lube job on it.

I still take the prescribed pain medication when needed for the sciatica,  and I am not completely pain free yet, but I think I am on my way.
