Hi, my name is Martha Stevens
I'm
a mother of five (3 girls 2 boys), all
grown now with families of their own.
And you know . . .
everything I learned in the process of
raising my kids came together with
great clarity once they were grown
and gone.
It was easy to see what I
should have done after it was
over,
but the time is passed, they've grown up and my
job is done.
So I did the next best thing, I sat
down and wrote the book I wish I had
when I was a young mother — because now
that I know what I wish
I'd known
then, and how much
easier it would have made
parenting — I want to pass it
on to you, to shorten your learning

I became aware

The
Secret was like a light bulb, dimly lit in the
back of my mind that over time grew brighter
and brighter until one day it finally dawned on me just
what it was.

began writing these thoughts down on paper, not
intending to write a book. However, having
once put pen
to paper I just kept writing.
