The first parameter (after the ?) is interpreted as the product identifier, and the second parameter is a tracking code. Tracking codes are optional, and can be used as additional information, subcampaign identifiers, or location information. You decide when and how to use them.

Any more than 2 parameters will be ignored, but could be used to add more information such as color. Standard numeric links can also have a tracking code.

Sometimes, more is not always better. Links that are too long, even if they do add additional information, may not get as many clicks!
